4th Annual NFL Pick'Em League

you should still think about joining the 4th Annual NFL Pick'Em League.
It is a group of friends that pick the winners of the NFL games each
week, and it is always a blast!

Here is the important info:

It costs 15$, and that is a one time fee due at the begining of the season. (At The Live Draft)

Depending
on the turnout, we will pay out more places. 1st place obviously gets
the most, with at least 2nd and 3rd getting a little something for
their hard work as well. Like I said, the more people that join, the
more the payouts.

We have confidence points, which is a point
system that makes it more fun. The jist of it is that for the amount of
games that are played in a week, you have that many point ratings. For
instance, if there are 16 games being played in a week, you have the
"ratings' 1, 2, 3, and all the way up to 16. Then you would place your
bigger points on the games that you are most confident with. Like if
the Colts were playing the Raiders, you might put your 16 pointer on
that game, and if it was an even game like the Cowboys and Redskins,
you would put a lower number on them like your 3, 4, or even 1 on it.

So
that's about it. Cherish is looking to hold her crown from last year!

i cant really shit talk that last statement, due to cherish's unwaivering solid picks year in and year. we can all try, but when its all said and done, the pick 'em league may as well be renamed "Cherish's Charity"

This year, in an effort to have more people, I am taking picks from students from the Blind School. They are not playing, and it will only be 1 place. I don't know if it will be a different kid each week or the same yet. Just for fun, to see how an opinion that doesn't follow football does. This week it is Corey White, a visually impaired 4th grader. I have him on board with the Dolphins, and he is also a Steeler fan. Really neat kid, and he follows the NFL loosely. I got his picks and confidence points. Cherish and Brandon both know him, and it will be fun to see how he picks!

Not to take anything away from the reigning '08 Champ. Cherish has an almost uncanny pick'em forecasting ability. It must be a Foreman thing.
