2009 CHAMPION: ROYALTY

Well thanks a lot Jim!

I feel really good about it. I felt really good about the team I drafted, and it came through. Even though not many players that I drafted contributed to the actual championship game, they still definetly got me there.

Because of week 17 I had to make some bold moves, and they paid off, so that was cool.

That being said I think I speak for at least 1 other person (probably more) in saying that I think next year we will only go to week 16, meaning that the championship game will be played on that week. That is where I am leaning, but it may change. Goodell is talking about maybe making incentives for teams to play to win every game, so if that is good enough, and it looks like teams won't be resting then we may still keep it at 17. We will just have to see, and of course I will get everyone's opinion.


That being said I would also like to add this year has been a blast for me, and I can't wait till next year where I will defend my crown. Until then I will enjoy this whole year as champ!

Congrats Ryan. I got something at my house that belongs to you haha. You had a great season, and you continue the streak of the second seed winning the championship.

That being said I just wanted to say that I have had 2 straight years at the bottom, and I feel sorry for all of you because you can not keep a winner down. That is what I am, at a lot of what I do. I take pride in turning things into gold. The day camp that I run, poker, football, art, and more. In fantasy I have hit some bad luck as of late, but like I said before, I WAY too much work into this stuff to stay down.

So as far as next year goes, I wouldn't want run into me.

***I might not have had the scariest team (THOR'S HAMMER), but it got the job done. I would have liked to be on top all year, but had to settle getting the #2 seed right before the playoffs. Better late than never I guess. Even if I would have stayed at #2, I would have gotten through that half of the bracket as well. Feels good and right that the champion scored the most overall points in the playoffs.

Fantasy is a funny thing, and frustrating as well. I know I speak for CHerish when I say that. If she would have gotten past Mark in the first round she would have knocked out Jim in the 2nd round, and been in the championship with myself. Behind me and Jim that is the matchup that I would have wanted (obviosuly).

what's funny, is one of the best playoff teams wasn't in the playoffs. Todd's team really caught fire at the end of the year, but it was too late. Anyways, I need to make my last week w/ the trophy special haha
